How far in advance should I book my newborn session?
I recommend reaching out to book your newborn session in your second trimester so we can get your due date on my books!
How old should my newborn be for a newborn session?
The best time for your newborn session is when baby is 6-12 days old! This timeframe is best because baby will still be very sleepy, flexible and generally will still love to be wrapped and swaddled!
What if my baby comes early?
If your sweet bundle of joy comes early, no worries at all! We’ll just celebrate their arrival a little earlier! We will reschedule to ensure we are still in that 5-12 days old timeframe!
Will you help us with location ideas?
Of course! I know and have done sessions at several great locations in the Evansville, IN and surrounding areas and can provide a list of great locations if you’re needing some ideas!
How can we order prints or photo gifts?
There is a professional photo lab attached to your gallery! If you order through the print store connected to your gallery, all your photos are already uploaded making ordering extremely simple! I highly recommend ordering prints through your gallery for the most accurate coloring and best quality!
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online, downloadable gallery link with all your photos within three weeks of your portrait session. I also always try to send a sneak peek within 24 hours for full sessions!
How does the client closet work?
Once your session is booked, you will receive a PDF guide with all the dresses from the client closet. If you are interested in using the client closet, you'll pick your top favs which I'll bring to your session. Then you can change at the session in my pop-up changing tent! (You're also more than welcome to wear whatever you'd like if you are not interested in using a dress from the client closet of course!)
What planning and guides will we receive before our session?
Once your session is booked, you will receive a guide for the client closet as well as an informational guide that will help you plan for your specific session, whether that’s how to prepare for your newborn session, maternity, family or couples session! You’ll receive a guide with some tips on what to wear and how to determine what to have your significant other and/or family wear to best compliment each other! I’m here to help you along the way, so you’ll be able to call, text or facetime me leading up to your session if you have any questions or need help picking outfits!

Once we choose a date and are ready to go, we will sign a contract and I will require a retainer to officially book your date on my calendar!
Once the retainer is paid and the contract is signed, we are ready to plan! We can chat outfits, locations, and answer any questions you have before the day of!
